Lake Arlington is an enjoyable boating and fishing lake! Lake Arlington offers boating, sailing, water skiing and jet skiing to the public. The 2,250 acre lake also offers a wide variety of productive fishing waters for crappie, catfish, sand bass, hybrid stripers and largemouth bass

In addition to the recreation activities at Lake Arlington, there are a variety of facilities for your enjoyment. Richard Simpson Park to the north and Bowman Springs Park to the south offer a number of special attractions including: boat launches, picnic areas, BBQ grills and restrooms. Lake Arlington, owned by the City of Arlington, is a multi-purpose reservoir used for municipal and industrial water supply and for recreational purposes. The reservoir is located on Village Creek in Tarrant County at the western edge of Arlington.
