The Arlington Yacht Club sponsors a variety of sailing activities for everyone from national champions to novice sailors. Membership in The Arlington Yacht Club is open to everyone with an enthusiasm for sailing, and a willingness to work (and play) with fellow club members.
You are
welcome to come by the club on any Sunday and visit the club. The best
time to visit is at 12:00 noon. You can join us as we sit down to lunch.
($3.00 per person... Cheap & Tasty!) After lunch you'll get to see the
real fun; the weekly races start at 1:30 PM.
For those of you with discretionary or non-existent work hours, come out and say "Hello!" on Wednesday morning around 11:00 AM. That's when the Old Friends Sailing Society meets for lunch and cruise the lake. Some of these folk's have been around since our founding in 1965.... they might be able to tell you a little about the Club, also.
While we welcome
everyone, it is important that prospective members recognize
the cooperative nature of the Club.
The annual membership dues are $180 per year. This membership entitles
you to full rights and privileges, including eligibility for boat storage
space in the boat yard.
There is a one-time application fee of $90.00 If for any reason your application is rejected, your application fee will be refunded.
