Host:                Sunfish Fleet # 701    Arlington Yacht Club

Date:                June 21st & 22nd, 2008

Venue:             Lake Arlington, Texas.  For directions - http://www.arlingtonyachtclub.org/map .

Rules:              The race will be governed by the rules as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing.

Eligibility:        The regatta is open to all Sunfish Class yachts.  Entry will be by completing a registration form and paying the required fees during onsite registration.

Area F Semi-finals for the US SAILING Single-handed Championship for the O’Day Trophy requirements:

You must declare at registration if you are sailing for qualification.

Proof of US SAILING membership is required.  Only Area F members are eligible.

Advertising:     Advertising will be restricted to Category A.

Schedule:        Saturday, June 21st, 2008

800 – 930          Registration and a Full Breakfast

1000                 Competitors Meeting

1100                 Warning signal for first start of the day

TBD                  Lunch – Smoked Turkey or Ham Samies

                        Afternoon races to follow lunch

                        Refreshments and Munchies after racing

1800                 Dinner at the club – Steak Extravaganza

800                   Continental Breakfast

930                   Warning signal for first start of the day.

                        No race to start after 1200 (Noon)

ASAP               Lunch and Awards

Entry Fee:        Online Registration is $55 for Seniors and $10 for Juniors – before June 12th.

After June 12th fee is $70 for everyone. 

Show your current US SAILING membership card and get a $5 discount.

Fee includes five meals for skipper.  Dinner will be a Cook Your Own Steak Extravaganza.

Extra Dinners are $15 and lunches are $5 and must be purchased during onsite registration.

Please let us know if you have any special dietary or physical needs. No Mental help available.

T-Shirts:           Short Sleeve - $15 each                     Hanes Beefy-T 100% Cotton

Please order when pre-registering so that we can assure that you get one.

Racing:            Many short course races using “Appendix Q” starting sequence.  1 race will constitute a regatta.

Trophies:         A large number of unique trophies will be awarded –be present to see what we dug up this time.
