Host:                Arlington Yacht Club 

 

Date:                May 2, 3 & 4, 2008

 

Venue:             Lake Arlington, Texas.  For directions - http://www.arlingtonyachtclub.org/map .

 

Rules:              The race will be governed by the rules as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing.

 

Registration:    Boats will be entered by completing a registration form and paying the required fees during onsite registration.  Cash or Checks – We are not able to accept Credit Cards at this time.

We plan on fleets of C-22’s, Sunfish, MC Scows, Day Sailers, Lasers, Centerboard and Cruising Portsmouth.  Any other class of 5 or more boats will be given a separate start.

                       

Advertising:     Advertising will be restricted to Category A.

 

Schedule:        Friday, May 2^nd, 2008                 1800 – 2000      Early registration at AYC

 

Saturday, May 3^rd, 2008             0800 – 0930     Registration & Full Breakfast

1000                 Competitors Meeting

1100                 Warning signal for first start of the day

TBD                  Lunch - Ashore

                                                               Afternoon races to follow lunch

                                                               Refreshments and Munchies after racing

TBD                  Dinner­­­­­­- After racing complete (approx 1800)

             

Sunday, May 4^th, 2007               0800                  Continental Breakfast

0930                 Warning signal for first start of the day.

                                                               No race to start after 1200 (Noon)

ASAP   Lunch and Awards

 

Entry Fee:        $50 for Skipper   $5 for each crew   $10 for Junior Skippers (+ $10 for everyone after 4/25/08)

            Fee includes Breakfasts and Lunches for the skipper.  Crew lunches are $5 each.

Dinner is $12.50 and extra lunches are $5 and must be purchased during online registration.

Show your current US SAILING membership card and get a $5 discount.

Show your current national sailboat class membership card and get a $5 discount. 

 

Scoring:           Five races are scheduled.  One race will constitute a regatta. 

 

Trophies:         5 to 9 Boats - 1^st, 2^nd & 3^rd Places                        Over 10 Boats - Top 1/3^rd (Max 10 trophies)

 

T-Shirts:           Short Sleeve      $17.50                          Long Sleeve       $20.00

                        Please order t-shirts when pre-registering to assure you get one.
